The Kii Advanced Fixation Access System incorporates all the unique new innovations from Applied Medical enabling rationalisation of stock.  This system features a retention disk allowing fixation of the trocar at specific depths.  It also features the fixation balloon which maintains superior cannula retention without barbs.  This eliminates unintentional displacement of the trocar.

The Kii Fios Fixation Access System also features the Fios "first entry" obturator which enables rapid insufflation upon immediate penetration of the peritoneum.  Fios first entry has the potential to significantly reduce the risk of injuries while establishing secure, controlled, pneumperitoneum in laparoscopic procedures.  Fios first entry is the ideal first entry port for any laparoscopic procedure.

This trocar also has the added benefit of non-bladed entry which minimises the fascial defect; and the advanced Kii seal design which offers high flow insufflation and smooth instrument changes with minimal drag.
