Reporting directly to the Financial Manager, you will be a critical member of Obex Group shared services Finance function. Responsible for managing the day-to-day credit functions of the Obex group businesses whilst delivering value added service to our stakeholders, through customer focus, collaboration and innovation.

Ensure the risk of default is diminished, and cash flow of the business is maximised, contributing to the business development and growth opportunities. Other day-to-day activities include:

  • Manage customer billing and cash collections (Invoices and statements issued accurately on a timely basis, processing authorised customer credits, accurate ERP EXO records of bank receipts and accounts receivable ledger)
  • Customer on boarding, collections, credit hold, allocations, claims management, investigations, queries, reconciliations, Master Data maintenance and management.
  • Provide excellence in service and develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare, review and analyse a regular suite of reports, i.e. ATBs, reconciliations, provision for doubtful debts, Legal accounts, credits reviews, etc.

The other essentials we are looking for:

  • Experience Accounts Receivable or in a similar role for 2+ years
  • Experience in a high-volume credit control function preferred
  • Strong credit control knowledge i.e. Privacy Act, PPSA.
  • Well-developed (intermediate) computer skills in Microsoft Office package applications (Excel and Word).
  • Familiarity with accounting software
  • Excellent data entry skills with high level of accuracy and speed.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a customer centric mindset.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
