Anaesthesia/Critical Care

  • Cook® Arndt Endobronchial Blocker Sets

Used for wire-guided endobronchial blockade of the left or right lunch for procedures which require one-lung ventilation.

    • The set consists of an endobronchial blocker catheter, the Arndt Multi-Port Airway Adapter and a CPAP adapter
    • The blocker is placed coaxially through a conventional endotracheal tube using a paediatric bronchoscope
    • The Arndt blocker’s required usage of a single lumen endotracheal tube eliminates potential loss of the airway, commonly posed during the extubation-reintubation of a double lumen tube
    • Low-pressure, high-volume balloon creates excellent surface area contact with the inner bronchial wall while minimising potential trauma to the bronchus
    • The unique, adjustable guide loop couples with a paediatric fiberscope, enabling precise placement
    • The 9 French blocker guide loop is replaceable once removed
    • The Arndt Multi-Port Airway Adapter permits simultaneous bronchoscopy, ventilation and blocker placement
  • Cook® Arterial Pressure Monitoring Sets – Polyethylene

Used for arterial pressure monitoring and blood sampling. Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one-time use.

  • Cook® Central Venous and Arterial Catheter Sets

Single Lumen Central Venous Catheter Sets – Polyurethane or Polyethylene
Used for venous pressure monitoring, blood sampling and administration of drugs and fluids.

Double and Triple Lumen Central Venous.
Used for venous pressure monitoring, blood sampling and administration of drugs and fluids.

    • The catheter incorporates to separate, non-communicating vascular access lumens within a single catheter body
    • The double lumen design reduces the necessity of utilising multiple venipunctures or multiple stopcock configurations using single lumen catheters
    • Exit ports of individual lumens are separated by an appropriate distance in proportion to the catheter’s French size.  This serves to separate fluids administered simultaneously

All supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one-time use.

  • Cook® Ciaglia Blue Rhino™ Percutaneous Tracheostomy Introducer Set with EZ-Pass™ Hydrophilic Coating

Used for controlled percutaneous introduction of tracheostomy tubes. The Ciaglia Blue Rhino dilator advanced over a wire guide/guiding catheter system facilitates dilation of the tracheal entrance site. Tracheostomy tube placement is accomplished by fitting the tracheostomy tube over the appropriate size loading dilator and advancing into position. This technique is not recommended for emergency tube placement and those patients with enlarged thyroids. Refer to product insert prior to use. Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one-time use.

  • Cook® Cohen Tip Deflecting Endobronchial Blocker Set

Used for tip-deflecting, wire guided endobronchial blockade of the left or right lung for procedures which require one-lung ventilation. Balloon is low-pressure, high volume.

    • A manually torqued device with a high-traction silicone grip on the introducer shaft for precise placement into the desired airway
    • The unique deflecting tip provides a wide range of adjustments to precisely direct the blocker under bronchoscopic guidance
    • An indicator arrow on the turning wheel shows which direction the tip deflects, ensuring fail-safe access to the desired lung
    • Markings on the introducer show how far the Cohen blocker has been advanced
    • The small outer diameter preserves maximum airway volume for enhanced patient ventilation during thoracic procedures
    • The set consists of an endobronchial blocker catheter, the Arndt Multi-Port Airway Adapter and a CPAP adapter

Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one time use.

  • Cook® Disposable Intraosseus Infusion Needle – Dieckmann Modification

Standard and Stainless Steel Hub Design.

Used as an alternative to intraosseus access during paediatric emergencies permitting infusion of drugs and fluids.

    • Two laterally exposed sideports positioned near the distal tip of the needle cannula ensure flow if needle tip is obstructed by posterior bone cortex
    • Stainless steel hub design provides additional stability
    • Refer to complete instructions for placement in product insert

Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one-time use.

  • Cook® Emergency Transtracheal Airway Catheters

Used for emergency airway access when conventional endotracheal intubation cannot be performed. Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one-time use.

  • Cook® Enk Fiberoptic Atomiser Set

Used for atomising local anaesthetics in connection with flexible fiberoptic intubation techniques. The Enk Fiberoptic Atomiser Set provides adequate topical anaesthesia by atomising small doses of local anaesthetics through the working channel of the bronchoscope using flow oxygen.

    • Reduced doses of anaesthetics together with the atomiser effect enhance patient comfort
    • Repeated administration of local anaesthetic solutions and flow oxygen (“spray as you go”) keeps the front lens clear during bronchoscope advancement.

Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one-time use.

  • Cook® Enk Oxygen Flow Modulator Set

Used with emergency transtracheal catheter ventilation when conventional ventilation by mask or endotracheal tube cannot be performed. The device allows manually controlled oxygen flow. Please refer to product insert prior to use. Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one-time use.

  • Cook® Femoral Haemodialysis Set

Used for blood withdrawal and infusion. Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one-time use.

  • Cook® Frova Intubating Introducers with Rapi-Fit® Adapters

Used to facilitate endotracheal intubation.  Angled tip assists in proper placement beyond vocal cords.

    • Removable Rapi-Fit Adapter permits use of ventilatory device if necessary during exchange procedure
    • Optional stiffening cannula adds rigidity to all but the distal 5cm of the catheter
  • Cook® Lock Pericardiocentesis Set

Used to drain fluid from the pericardial sac. Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one-time use.
