As technology advances it becomes increasingly important to have radiation-friendly treatment devices. Indexable carbon fiber couchtops and overlays provide you with a radiation-friendly base creating fewer image artifacts and more treatment plan options.
The Universal Couchtop (UCT)™ family is comprised of strong and lightweight couchtops with low attenuation and surface dose. These couchtops are ideal for IGRT tracking with options completely free of rails and junctions in the treatment area. They are available for most CT scanners and linear accelerators, providing a dosimetrically matched treatment platform from simulation to treatment.
