  • Cook® Bird’s Nest® Gianturco-Roehm Vena Cava Filter

    Proven PE Protection

    • May be used in vena cava up to 40 mm in diameter
    • Controlled insertion for use in varying anatomic conditions while creating a fine wire multiplane filtering system
    • Secure fixation prevents migration
    • Introducer system flexibility permits options in access site selection
  • Cook® Cantata™ Superselective Microcatheter

    Access superselective anatomy with the right balance of trackability, softness and support.

    Ease of access to target anatomy – Hydrophilic coating ensures smooth introduction and maintains manoeuvrability through multiple passes.

    Support and trackability – Five transition zones, more than any other catheter, provide a distinct yet seamless transition from hub to tip.

    Efficient and reliable deployment – Large inner diameter can accommodate embolic particles spheres or microcoils – including .018 inch embolisation coils.

    Additional features:

    • Braided construction for superior control, trackability and kink resistance
    • Lipiodol/DMSO/alcohol compatibility allows a broad range of applications
    • Cantata 2.5 Fr has a flow rate of 1.6mL/sec at a pressure of 1,200 psi
    • Cantata 2.8 Fr has a flow rate of 3.5mL/sec at a pressure of 900 psi

    Cook® Cava Sizing Catheters – Angiographic with Beacon® Tip

    Gold bands spaced at 28 millimetres apart Designed for angiographic injections of contrast media

  • Cook® Celect™ Vena Cava Filter

    Used for the prevention of recurrent pulmonary embolism via placement in the vena cava in the following situations:

    • Pulmonary thromboembolism when anticoagulant therapy is contraindicated;
    • Failure of anticoagulant theory in thromboembolic diseases;
    • Emergency treatment following massive pulmonary embolism where anticipated benefits of conventional therapy are reduced; and
    • Chronic, recurrent pulmonary embolism where anticoagulant therapy has failed or is contraindicated.

    Set consists of the following items: Preloaded filter introducer, coaxial introducer sheath system, hydrophilic coated dilator and three-way stopcock.

    The filter may be retrieved according to the Instructions for Use in the section labelled “Optional Retrieval Procedure”. Retrieval of the filter can be performed only by the jugular approach.

    The filter is introduced and placed via an 8.5 or 7.0 Fr coaxial introducer sheath system.

    Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one-time use.
