    Designed by Cook, the technology that goes into crafting Otrieva Needles is unique.

    First, the needle is ground from a thick cannula that preserves a smooth, uninterrupted finish in the lumen. This results in a stiff needle with a tapered tip and exceptional control during aspiration.

    Second, a special tapering process produces a uniform bevel on the tip. This refined tip creates a smaller opening upon entry – which means less trauma, less pain and less bleeding for the patient.

  • Cook® Ova-Stiff™ Aspiration Needle – B-Bevel

    Used for aspiration and flushing of oocytes from ovarian follicles. Needles are mouse embryo (MEA) and USP endotoxin (LAL) batch tested. Supplied sterile in peel-open packages. Intended for one time use.

    Features:

    Improved bevel grind creates the sharpest needle available to reduce patient discomfort and ease follicle puncture.
    An upgraded Echotip® now extends over the heel of the needle bevel and provides enhanced ultrasound visualisation allowing for precise identification of the needle tip.
    New, larger ergonomic handle for greater comfort and improved control during use. Thumb indent indicates bevel orientation.
    Extra-stiff and smooth needle cannula enables precise placement of the needle tip in the follicle.
