Used for controlled percutaneous introduction of tracheostomy tubes.

• The Ciaglia Blue Rhino dilator advanced over a wire guide/guiding catheter system facilitates dilation of the tracheal entrance site.
• Tracheostomy tube placement is accomplished by fitting the tracheostomy tube over the appropriate size loading dilator and advancing into position.
• This technique is not recommended for emergency tube placement and those patients with enlarged thyroids.
• Refer to product insert prior to use.
